Allene Hatherell
Allene Hatherell is a highly experienced CBT, ADHD and EMDR psychotherapist with over 25 years' experience in the UK and internationally, and a retired general nurse and midwife. She trained as an integrative counsellor before qualifying as a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, is an EMDR practitioner, and is completing training in Jungian Sandplay therapy; she works integratively, tailoring therapy to each client.

Allene has a particular interest and expertise in supporting neurodivergent clients (ADHD and autism), and has worked extensively with trauma and sensitive issues including addictions, depression, anxiety, PTSD and complex PTSD, rape and childhood sexual abuse, personality disorders, self-harm, insomnia, low self-esteem, panic, anger, OCD, social anxiety, bereavement, domestic abuse, oncology-related distress (CBT Oncology) and the challenges of relocation. She holds additional qualifications in CBASP (for chronic depression) and is a COSCA supervisor.
