Ann has a special interest and extensive experience in working with neurodivergent adults — including those with Autism Spectrum Difference, ADHD or AuDHD — as well as family members of neurodivergent children and adults, taking a neurodiversity-sensitive and affirming approach. In recent years she has expanded into Schema Mode Therapy, which works at a deep level to help those with long-standing, ingrained difficulties. She works with panic, OCD, PTSD, social anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, bereavement and loss, childhood trauma, personality disorders (including Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder), and the challenges of living with chronic fatigue, ME or fibromyalgia. Ann is an accredited member of the BACP (since 2005) and the BABCP (since 2014), and a certified member of the International Society of Schema Therapists (ISST). She also offers clinical supervision to trainee and qualified counsellors and CBT therapists, and welcomes clients funded by health insurance. A free discovery call is available.
