Finding Joy Psychology supports people experiencing anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, panic, chronic pain and fatigue, and a wide range of other difficulties. Clients consistently describe warm, empathetic and practical care that helps them feel safe, understood and back in control. The team takes a distinctive, person-centred approach built on strong, trusting therapeutic relationships, working from the belief that the client is the true expert in their own life and tailoring each session to individual needs. Services span a broad range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for children and adults, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma and PTSD. The practice also provides specialist child and adolescent psychology and psychotherapy, executive function coaching (helpful for ADHD and related challenges), and holistic pain and fatigue management using a bio-psycho-social model that includes occupational therapy. Appointments are available Monday to Saturday, 9am–6pm, with a free initial consultation offered.
