Cristina Garcia-Llavona

Cristina Garcia-Llavona is an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist and Psychologist practising from Ten Harley Street in Central London, offering sessions in person and online. Registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) since 1995, she trained in Clinical Psychology in Spain and completed a postgraduate course in CBT at UCL Medical School, later expanding into Schema Therapy and EMDR. She has been BABCP accredited since 1999 and is also a member of the European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT) and the Spanish College of Psychologists.

Cristina has extensive experience across the NHS and private sector, including many years as a therapist at the Priory Hospital, and specialises in the assessment and treatment of trauma (simple and complex PTSD) — working with military personnel, emergency-services workers, abuse survivors, disaster and accident victims, crime survivors and journalists. Her expertise has featured in the BBC documentary Living with PTSD and in books by Fergal Keane and Mark Evans. A visiting lecturer at the University of Roehampton and lecturer at Goldsmiths, she also provides clinical supervision, and works in English, Spanish and Italian.
