Ruth Hampton
Ruth Hampton is a fully accredited (BABCP and EMDR UK) integrative psychotherapist practising as South West Psychotherapy, meeting clients in person and online. She has worked in NHS mental health since 1995, first as a Registered Mental Health Nurse and then as a psychotherapist, and currently works part-time for an NHS Early Intervention for Psychosis service. Her qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in CBT for Psychosis & Bipolar (University of Exeter), advanced EMDR training and CBT supervisor training.

Ruth offers a collaborative, compassionate, evidence-based service drawing on CBT, EMDR, Attachment Theory, Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and Somatic Movement, ACT and Internal Family Systems, working with anxiety, depression, phobias, OCD, trauma, relational and attachment issues, bipolar and psychosis, and the challenges of ADHD and autism. Fees are £80 an hour, with a free 15-minute consultation.
