Ylva Parfitt

Ylva specialises in working therapeutically with children and adolescents but works with families and people of all ages, and her private therapy room is in Kingston near Lewes (currently offering online therapy only). Her qualifications include a PhD in Psychology (University of Sussex), an MSc in Health Psychology, a PG Diploma in CBT for Children & Young People, and EMDR (parts 1–4). Ylva uses CBT — drawing also on mindfulness, CFT and ACT — for depression and low mood, low self-esteem, phobias, OCD, social and health anxiety, GAD, PTSD and panic.
