Many clients arrive feeling overwhelmed, anxious or stuck — caught in patterns of overthinking, people-pleasing, perfectionism or a persistent sense of not being "good enough." Therapy gently explores how early life experiences have shaped a person's sense of self and their relationships, working towards a life that feels more authentic, in control and connected. Rather than a one-size-fits-all method, the practice draws on a range of evidence-based approaches to suit each individual: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for depression, anxiety, OCD, burnout, low self-esteem and long-term health conditions; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT); Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) for shame, guilt and self-criticism; Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT); and EMDR for processing past trauma. Support is available for low mood, anxiety and panic, poor boundaries, relationship difficulties, feelings of unworthiness, unresolved trauma and childhood adversity, and that sense of feeling lost or unsure of the next step.
