Prometheus Therapy Centre

The centre works with children, adolescents and adults, treating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, self-esteem and confidence issues, anger management, and grief and bereavement. Its therapists offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Cognitive Analytic Therapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness-based therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy skills, hypnotherapy and couples counselling.

Specialist autism and ADHD assessments are also available, using the 3Di developmental interview and the ADOS-2 observational assessment against DSM-5 criteria. An adult autism assessment led by a Clinical Psychologist, including the report, is £2,300, and assessments are also undertaken by Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist Dr Patrick Nwagbogu.
